Description

Aldara is commonly prescribed for:
- External genital and perianal warts (caused by HPV)
- Actinic keratosis (precancerous sun-damaged skin lesions)
- Superficial basal cell carcinoma (a type of skin cancer)
How It Works
Imiquimod activates the immune system and promotes the release of cytokines and other immune mediators that help eliminate abnormal skin cells and viral infections.
